Summer Portion of 2015 Recreational Groundfish Fishery To Close Sunday
DFO reminds the public that the 2015 Summer season of the recreational groundfish fishery for Newfoundland and Labrador (NAFO Divisions 2GH, 2J3KL, 3Ps, 3Pn and 4R) will close one (1) hour after sunset on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
The fall season will open on September 19 to September 27, 2015.

On August 4, the FFAW-Unifor Elections Committee tallied the mail-in ballots for the tri-annual Executive Board election, where eight positions were contested.
