Crew of Atlantic Charger Safe After Vessel Takes on Water Near Frobisher Bay

The well-known Newfoundland-based fishing vessel Atlantic Charger ran into trouble Monday and started taking on water off Resolution Island, near Frobisher Bay. The crew of nine abandoned ship and took to a life raft and were later picked up by the Danish ship FV Paamiut, the Canadian military's Joint Task Force Atlantic reported.
