2015 Lumpfish Openings in NAFO Sub-Divisions 3Ps and 3K
DFO wishes to advise harvesters that the Lumpfish fishery will open at 0600 hours on Monday, June 8, 2015 in the following Lumpfish fishing areas:
NAFO sub-Division 3Ps
Lawn Head to Dantzic Point
Dantzic Point to Grand Bank Cape
Grand Bank Cape to Point Rosie
DFO also advised harvesters that the lumpfish fishery will open in the portion of NAFO Division 3K from Granite Point to Little Harbour Deep Head at 06:00 hours on Monday June 08 ,2015.

Mariners Advised of Temporary Delays at Placentia Lift Bridge
The Department of Transportation and Works advises mariners of intermittent delays to navigation through the channel at the Placentia Gut between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, and Monday, June 8.
The delays are necessary as part of the continuing construction of the new lift bridge across the Placentia Gut.
The delays are anticipated to be up to two hours and will only affect marine traffic. Vehicle traffic on the existing bridge will not be impacted.
