Canada will soon have a new Minister of Fisheries.
Current Minister Gail Shea fell victim to the Liberal red tide that swept across the country, especially in Atlantic Canada, Monday night. In the Prince Edward Island riding of Egmont, Liberal Bobby Morrissey has won a huge victory over incumbent Conservative cabinet minister Gail Shea.
Incoming Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will have lots of potential candidates to look at for the fisheries portfolio, since his Liberals swept all 32 seats in Atlantic Canada.
Other possible candidates for the job of fisheries minister might come from Liberal MPs in Quebec or British Columbia.
