The 2025 North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show presented by The Navigator Magazine has officially wrapped and this year’s edition has set a new attendance record, marking the show’s strongest turnout in its history.

Held November 14–15 at the Mary Brown’s Centre in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, the biennial event once again proved why it remains the premier gathering for Atlantic Canada’s commercial marine and fishery sectors.

Thousands of visitors made their way through the doors, surpassing previous benchmarks and highlighting the continued growth and resilience of the marine industry in Newfoundland and Labrador.

“This year’s record attendance speaks volumes about the strength of our marine community,” said Show Manager Shawn Murphy. “From vessel owners and processors to innovators in marine technology, the energy on the show floor was incredible. It’s clear that industry members value this event as an essential space to reconnect, discover new products and drive the sector forward.”

The 2025 show brought together more than 100 exhibitors spanning commercial fishing vessels, onboard electronics, safety equipment, offshore services, engine systems and emerging marine technologies. Exhibitors and attendees alike reported strong engagement, steady traffic and valuable business connections throughout the two-day event.

This year’s event also included the Atlantic Canada Marine Industries Hall of Fame induction ceremony, which honoured three exceptional individuals whose lifelong contributions have shaped the region’s various sectors.

This year’s inductees were:

  • Gilbert Linstead – Processor Category
  • Michael A. Dobbin – Mariner Category
  • Peter Winsor – Builder Category
