Yarmouth, NS – Canada’s longest-running, most successful commercial fishing show will return to the Yarmouth Mariners Centre, February 3-4, 2017. Presented by the Navigator Magazine and produced by Master Promotions Ltd., the Eastern Canadian Fisheries Exposition is held every two years in southwestern Nova Scotia and offers visitors a comprehensive grouping of marine and commercial fisheries products and services.
Exhibitors and visitors attend the show from throughout the Maritimes, across the country, and even the eastern United States. The show’s last edition saw its highest attendance in years, with 3,754 qualified buyers – a very good indicator of the strength of the fishing industry.
“Strong attendance and strong sales were underlying themes throughout the latest editions of Master Promotions Ltd.’s grouping of three fisheries shows: the Eastern Canadian Fisheries Exposition, the North Atlantic Fish & Workboat Show, and Fish Canada Workboat Canada,” said Show Manager Shawn Murphy. “The industry is in an upswing right now and this energy and enthusiasm will definitely be present this February in Yarmouth. It’s going to be a great show!”
The 2017 show website is now live at www.EasternCanadianFisheriesExpo.ca. Those interested in exhibiting at the show are invited to review the booth package and pricing options and purchase their space today.
Exhibitors from the last edition were thrilled with their return on investment: “The Eastern Canadian Fisheries Exposition was great exposure for our business,” said Bain Blois, president of Blois Fish Processing Automation Ltd. “We met many of our existing clients, along with some new and potential customers. Having the space to show our equipment in action generated a lot of interest and resulted in some great sales for us. The show was well-run and well-organized and we look forward to the next one!”
“As a first time attendee at the Eastern Canada Fisheries Exposition, not only was I surprised by the quality of visitors but also the all-around organization of the event,” said Jacques Collet, Éclairage CBM Lighting. “We have taken part in numerous marine-related shows, but this one was by far the most profitable for our dollars invested in this type of event.”
Visitors interested in attending the show are encouraged to stay tuned to the show website for additional information and show features, as well as the show’s Facebook and Twitter pages, which will have up-to-the-minute information on the event.
