Mariners are advised that the previously announced planned closure of Placentia Gut to navigation on Thursday, September 10, has been rescheduled and will now begin at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, until noon on Saturday, September 12.
Vehicle traffic on the existing bridge will not be impacted.

The Department of Transportation and Works advises mariners of intermittent delays to navigation through the channel at the Placentia Gut on Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9.
Mariners are also advised of a complete closure of Placentia Gut beginning on Thursday, September 10, for a minimum of 24 hours.
The closures are necessary as part of the continuing construction of the new Placentia Lift Bridge.
Vehicle traffic on the existing bridge will not be impacted.
