Bluenose Centennial Celebrations Underway

This year marks the 100th anniversary since the launch of Canada’s most iconic sailing vessel, the Bluenose. To honour the anniversary, the Bluenose II, the replica schooner, will be visiting numerous Nova Scotia harbours over the summer, including ports of call in both New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Community Event to Celebrate Bluenose II

Nova Scotians and visitors are invited to join the captain and crew of the Bluenose II on Saturday, July 11, to celebrate the schooner in her home port of Lunenburg. Bluenose II Public Harbour Tour Schedule Posted

The Bluenose II public harbour tour schedule has been posted now that Capt. Phil Watson has deemed the crew ready to sail. The schedule is subject to change in the event of unfavourable sailing conditions.
