The Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador will be holding its annual Wooden Boat Conference in Harbour Grace on September 11-12, 2015.
This year there will be several exciting events including a new “Heritage Skills Challenge” and the museum wants you to participate.
Sign up as a team of six and take part in our relay challenge: knit a net, tie a whiff, haul a lobster pot, scull a punt and row a punt. Don’t worry, if you don’t know how to do any of those things, there’s a training session on Friday morning to prepare all participants.
To sign up for the conference and/or Heritage Skills Challenge call the Wooden Boat Museum at 709-583-2070 or visit their website www.woodenboatnl.com for more details.
